The Lindsay-Clark family have run Downhead Manor Farm for over 50 years

Tim’s late Father, Andrew was been the mainstay of the family farming unit for over 50 years since completing his studies in Cirencester. Without Andrew's sheer determination, sense of humour and optimism, this family farm would not have been possible.

Having successfully run the family farmhouse whilst raising 3, now fully-grown children, Janey is often found in the polytunnel growing all things delicious or seeing to her copious (and growing!) hens.

Tim, having completed a Mechanical Engineering degree in London, returned to Somerset over 15 years ago to run the farm full-time. Tim has successfully built upon the proven holistic farming methodologies Andrew achieved and is passionate about carbon sequestration, holistic agricultural management, Conservation and Ecology and the associated credentials it demonstrates alongside the commercial agricultural operations.

Tim lives at the farm full time with his wife Caroline, daughter Clemmie and son’s Charlie and Theo.  For Tim, life doesn't get much better than this, and with a view over the Somerset countryside as his office and his dogs at his feet...who could blame him.
