Lytes Cary Brown Hairstreak Count

 Mark Fletcher, our butterfly recorder, has so far counted a massive 391 Brown Hairstreak eggs! Also, he saw the first 2 butterflies of the year - 2 small tortoiseshells. The blackthorn is now starting to flower so egg counting will be replaced by butterfly counting as the warmer, spring weather starts to creep in. Thank you Mark!
